The summer holidays are here, and they’re set to be a scorcher! But what to do with the kids over the school holiday?

From craft workshops to treetop adventures, here’s five things to do near Crowthorne this summer.

Holme Grange Craft Village crafts and workshops – Holme Grange Craft Village, Wokingham

Tucked in the countryside between Crowthorne and Wokingham, Holme Grange Craft Village offers an oasis of creativity for children and adults alike! Families can enjoy an artsy afternoon of pottery painting and little Lego fanatics can join the ‘Brickies Club’ with fun and stimulating Lego building workshops. Head down on the 13th and 14th August for the Craft market; you may be able to steal away and peruse beautiful crafts and materials from talented local makers while your little ones are getting creative in a workshop!

Horseshoe Lake activity days – Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre, Sandhurst

Over the summer, Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre in Sandhurst hosts multi-activity days every weekday, designed to get kids out the house and learning new skills and making new friends over summer.

Head down to Place Morgan Recreation Ground from 11am-3pm on 16th August for the ‘Summer of Fun’ – the fabulous free event designed to keep your little ones entertained over the summer! Expect a climbing wall, laser tag, crazy golf, face painting, a petting farm and much, much more, as well as activities from the local library, Crowthorne Rugby Club, Berkshire Reptiles and even a visit from a fire engine!
