With six weeks of no school spread out in front of us, parents, grandparents and guardians all across Aldershot will be asking themselves ‘what to do with the children this summer?’

Aldershot Lido – Aldershot
Aldershot Lido is back open this summer! Packed with three water slides, a basketball area, picnic area, and a paddling pool for toddlers, the lido is the perfect way to cool off with the family this summer. Bring plenty of sun cream and go for a splash around on those scorching hot days!

Aldershot Alpine Snowsports Centre – Aldershot
Snowsports? In summer?! It’s all possible at the Aldershot Alpine Snowsports Centre! Children and adults of all ages and abilities can try out skiing, snowboarding and donutting this summer with enthusiastic and passionate instructors.
The centre also offers a range of summer camps, so kids can learn the ropes of skiing and snowboarding over the school holidays while making new friends and building their confidence. Picnic & Pop Festival – 30th-31st July, Manor Park, Aldershot,
Head down to Manor Park on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July for a weekend filled with live music, fun fair rides, and over 30 food and drink stalls at the Picnic and Pop Family Festival! Enjoy tribute acts for ABBA, Elton John, Adele, Ed Sheeran and more as well as local talent on the Acoustic stage and crafts and circus skills for all the family.

Airhop - Guildford
Located just a 15 minute drive from central Aldershot, Airhop Guildford is an incredible trampoline park designed for all ages to enjoy. Filled with over 50 trampolines, this bouncy adventure is a must visit for an afternoon of fun and laughter with all the family!

Alice Holt Forest – Farnham
Want to get the kids out in the great outdoors? Head to Alice Holt Forest in Farnham – an area of beautiful woodland filled with activities for everyone, including play areas, Gruffalo sculptures, and ‘Superworm trails’. There is even a Forest Adventure Camp this summer, for children aged five and above, including activities such as den building, mud sculpting, and minibeast hunts.
